Primary & Secondary Education

The Education Office of the French Embassy is in touch with every school across the US that offers French programs and French curriculum. Different French programs, including very innovative ones, are offered to students in public primary and secondary schools. A number of high schools and some middle schools also teach French as a second language.

Higher Education

The Higher Education Department represents the French university system in the United States, with a mandate to create and sustain research and other academic partnerships among French and American institutions of higher learning at the university and Postgraduate levels.

French Language

The French Language Education Department promotes the highest standards of French language education in public and private schools across America. The Department pursues and maintains partnerships between national educational authorities, associations of American foreign language teachers and educational organizations, and foundations rooted in Francophone communities throughout the United States.
