Messiaen Concert
Cultural Anniversaries: Israel at 60, Messiaen at 100
An evening celebrating the 100th birthday of Olivier Messiaen,
featuring the “Quartet for the End of Time” and celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Israel with music featuring celebrated Israeli composers, this program will include a work written in response to the Messiaen by composer and teacher Menachem Wiesenberg, performed by a classical quartet of Israeli and French musicians.
