French Connection
Nicole Cohen traveled to Versailles and received special permission to walk the grounds and film on locales that are off limits to the public.
With this footage she completed a large scale art installation at the Getty Center in Los Angeles that was on public view for 2 years titled Please Be Seated. It was in fact the Getty Centre that was able to secure her the access to the Palace of Versailles.
She is now opening a second art opening at the Shoshana Wayne Gallery based on the town of French Azylium in Pennsylvania that was built to house Marie Antoinette as an exile from France. The structures are still there.
