Graphic Novels from Europe Exhibition
Part of Graphic Novels from Europe Festival
This exhibit features art from the graphic novels of Czech team Jaromír 99 and Jaroslav Rudiš, French artists David B and Nicolas de Crécy, German artist Isabel Kreitz, Italian artist and publisher Igort, and Spain’s Max. Among the featured works are pages and illustrations from Alois Nebel (Jaromír 99/Jaroslav Rudiš), Glacial Period (Nicolas de Crécy), Epileptic (David B), Die Sache mit Sorge (Isabel Kreitz), Five is the Perfect Number and Baobab (Igort), and Bardin the Superrealist (Max).
Graphic Novels from Europe: New Literature from Europe 2008 is organized by the Goethe-Institut New York, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, Instituto Cervantes, and the Czech Center New York.
